good morning! before i head out for the day, i wanted to share some beautiful detail shots from another wedding i did last year. the ceremony took place at st. timothy’s catholic church in los angeles, with a reception following at the super hip luxe hotel sunset boulevard in bel air. i had an incredible time working with this couple… toya and i spent 70% of every meeting just cracking up with each other! i loved their vision for a cool and modern palette of aqua and chocolate brown and took on some fab creative projects for them. they hired kristin at the treasured petal to put together the vibrant floral designs and she blew us away!! here is a sneak peek at the stylish result, courtesy of pics from kristin’s husband joe.

st. timothy’s made a stunning backdrop for a worshipful ceremony.

these white mum balls made for perfect, minimalist pew ends.

this striking arrangement greeted guests at the gift table.

a different way to use pumpkins for escort cards… my favorite is the curvaceous ice blue vase with the explosion of dendrobiums and chinese lanterns from the top.

the luxe has these fab built-in couches outside, so we dressed them up with our own pillows, some fun paper lanterns and the couple’s initials in hydrangea.

another look at the lounge arrangment. can you spot joe?

i love this view into the ballroom, with a look at their custom gobo.

a look at the tall centerpieces, adorned with aqua blue crystal droplets. i made the table names and menus. each table was named after a shade of the color brown.

this low centerpiece graced half of the tables. i love everything about it, especially the dahlias and more crystals tucked inside.

lighting (from my friends at lighten up, inc.) helped us set the mood.

everything exceeded my expectations for the big day. walking into the reception room literally took my breath away! as i observed family and friends mingling in these beautiful spaces, i was overjoyed at the outcome and reminded of how blessed i am to do what i do.

i hope you enjoyed this little look at another splendid wedding. have a wonderful weekend! xoxo, angel

Kristin is sooooo amazing and talented!!! These shots look like they belong in a tabloid of Britney’s 3.6 million dollar birthday bash or something. Great job!

Gorgeous. The orange accents really pop and makes for a sophiticated combo with the chocolage and aqua.

i love every wedding that we do, but this wedding was one of my faves! The flowers, their initials (my #1 fave), the m&ms, the colors, the lighting, the details, the livelihood on the dance floor (wink!)…this wedding was a blast! and i LOVE the luxe hotel!

    This wedding was wonderful!

angela, i really adore your attention to detail. i noticed that in some of these weddings you actually made the menu card and table names. can you recommend any templates that i can use?
